Good Knight Studio is an Atlanta event portrait studio. We exist because the photo booth category treats the picture as an afterthought, and the picture is the only thing that leaves the room.

The picture is
the whole
point.
Good Knight Studio was founded in Atlanta in 2026 by its three partners to do one thing properly: photograph the guests at an event the way the event deserves. Most photo booths are rented equipment with a template. We run a small portrait studio inside the room, and we treat the print like a piece of the event design rather than a party favor.
The name comes from the Goodman and Knight families, brought together in Good Knight. The idea is simple: the evening ends, the portrait stays. Everything about the studio is built backward from that final image. The light is metered for the room so people look the way they hoped. The layout is drawn from the invitation suite or the brand kit. The attendant hosts the line so nobody stands there wondering where to look.
We serve weddings, corporate events, brand activations, conferences and galas across Atlanta and the metro, and we work most often alongside planners, venues and experiential agencies.
How we operate
Planners and venues trust vendors that are boring in the right ways. We arrive early, we are insured, we have one contact from design through strike, and we deliver when we said we would. The creative work only matters if the operational work is invisible.
Every event runs on the same checklist: print design approved in advance, certificate of insurance on file, set built to the floor plan, light metered in the room, attendant hosting, backup equipment staged, gallery live the same night, and for corporate engagements, the report within 48 hours.
What the category gets wrong
Seven things
we fixed.
The attendant on their phone.
The most common complaint in the category. Ours hosts the line, directs the poses, and is uniformed and present for the whole coverage window.
Flat, harsh light.
A ring light on a kiosk makes everyone look like a passport. We use a large continuous softbox and a real camera, metered for the room.
A stock template with your name dropped in.
Every event gets a print layout designed from the suite or the brand kit. It is included, not an upcharge.
A booth that looks like equipment.
The set is styled to the room and coordinated with the planner, so it belongs in the design rather than beside it.
The gallery that arrives next week.
Ours is live before midnight and hosted for twelve months.
The certificate of insurance that never comes.
Issued within 24 hours of request, venue named as additional insured.
The printer jam with no backup.
A backup printer and spare media are on site at every event. The strips do not stop.
