Atlanta Wedding portrait studio

Every guest,lit like thecouple.

An attended portrait studio brought into your reception. We build the set to your design, light it softly, design the print from your invitation suite, and put the full gallery online before midnight.

What it is

A studio, not
a kiosk.

Good Knight Studio is a luxury event portrait studio serving weddings in Atlanta and the surrounding metro. Instead of a self-serve photo booth, we set up an open-air studio at the reception: a styled backdrop, continuous softbox lighting metered for the room, a DSLR camera, and a uniformed attendant who hosts the line for the whole coverage window.

Guests leave with a printed photo strip designed from your invitation suite, and the complete online gallery is live before midnight and hosted for twelve months. Three house backdrops are included; custom and designer backdrops can be added and coordinated with your planner.

Wedding coverage runs three to five hours and starts at $1,395. Travel within thirty miles of Atlanta is included.

Why it looks different

Light

Lit like a portrait, not a passport photo.

A large continuous softbox and a real camera, metered for the actual room. Soft, flattering, no flash bolted to a kiosk, no hot foreheads.

Design

The print is built from your suite.

Every wedding gets a custom print layout drawn from the invitation, the menu, the monogram. Included, never a stock frame with your names dropped in.

The set

Styled to the room you designed.

Backdrop and styling are treated as part of the event design and coordinated with your planner, so the studio belongs in the space rather than beside it.

Hosting

An attendant who hosts, not one who stands there.

Uniformed, present, directing the line and the poses all night. A backup printer and spare media sit on site so the strips never stop.

How the evening goes

Three moments,
in order.

01

Before guests arrive

We arrive early, build the set against your design and floor plan, and meter the light. Your planner has our certificate of insurance and a direct line before the day.

02

During the reception

The attendant hosts the line, guides the poses, and keeps prints moving. Every group leaves with a strip in hand before they are back at the table.

03

Before midnight

The full gallery goes live the same night and stays hosted for twelve months. Guests share their photos before the last dance ends.

Selected wedding work

Three, two, one.

Every strip leaves the room in someone's pocket. That is why the print gets designed before the studio gets loaded.

Questions

Asked before
every wedding.

What makes Good Knight Studio different from a traditional photo booth?

Good Knight Studio is an attended open-air portrait experience rather than a kiosk. Each setup is professionally lit and photographed on a DSLR, with an attendant guiding guests throughout the event. The result is a more polished, editorial experience that feels intentionally designed for the setting, whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, brand activation, or private celebration. Prints and digital galleries can also be customized to match the event or brand.

Does the studio fit a formal or black-tie wedding?

Yes. The set is designed to sit inside the room rather than beside it: a styled backdrop, soft flattering light, a uniformed attendant, and a print that matches the stationery. Nothing about it reads as rental equipment.

Do you work directly with wedding planners?

Yes. Planners and venue teams get a direct line, the certificate of insurance within 24 hours of request, and the set styled to the event design rather than to a template. The planners page lists what we need from you and when.

How many hours of coverage do weddings include?

Wedding coverage runs three to five hours depending on the experience, attended throughout. Additional hours and an idle hour for an early set-up can be added.

Are you insured, and can our venue be named on the certificate?

Yes. A certificate of insurance naming the venue as additional insured is issued within 24 hours of request.

How much space does the studio need?

Plan for approximately 10' x 10' for the full studio setup. In tighter spaces, we can often work within an 8' x 8' footprint depending on the backdrop and event layout. We’ll confirm the final footprint during planning and coordinate with your planner or venue team to make sure guest flow stays clear.

How far outside Atlanta do you travel?

Travel within thirty miles of Atlanta is included. Beyond that, travel is billed at $2.75 per mile.

Is the studio attended the whole time?

Yes. A uniformed attendant hosts the line for the full coverage window, directs guests, and keeps the set and the print queue running. A backup printer and spare media are on site at every event.

Can the print design match our invitation suite or brand?

Yes, and it is included rather than an upcharge. Every event gets a print layout built from your invitation suite or brand kit, not a stock template with a name dropped in.

Can we choose or customize the backdrop?

A curated studio backdrop is included, with custom and designer treatments available.

Can a completely custom set be built?

Yes. Custom set builds are scoped and priced per event, from a styled backdrop and props through a fully built environment for a brand activation. Lead time depends on the build.

Do you provide physical prints?

Yes. Unlimited on-site prints are included, with 4x6 as the standard format and 2x6 strip layouts available when they better suit the event design.

How far in advance should we reserve a date?

Earlier is always better, especially for peak weekends, but we regularly accommodate shorter timelines when availability allows. Events may be reserved months in advance or just a few weeks before the date. If your event is coming up quickly, reach out anyway. Rush fees may apply when expedited design, production, staffing, or logistics are required.

What holds the date?

Your date is reserved once the required retainer and signed agreement are received. Retainer amounts and payment terms vary by event type and scope, and are outlined clearly in your proposal before booking.

What if we need to cancel or move the date?

We understand plans can change. Your retainer reserves the date and is generally non-refundable, but we’ll always try to accommodate a reschedule when availability allows. Cancellation and rescheduling terms vary by event and are outlined clearly in your agreement before booking.
